Dagedar Review From Arizona

There is very little information on the internet regarding the Dagedar toys and this is probably due to the fact that they haven’t officially been released to the public yet. Apparently they are due for release sometime this year.

Of course, if you live in Arizona it is a different story. Cepia LLC, the company that created these great toy collections, has released the toy in the state of Arizona to test the waters. So far there have been a lot of very positive responses for those kids lucky enough to play with these supercharged balls before they go public.

I live in Phoenix and recently bought a Dagadar toy kit for my two young boys to test out.

I bought some packs of balls that come as various sets. I think I bought set 1, set 2 and set 6. These were enough balls to get my boys started with the game.

Dual Top Speed Start Gates

We picked up a Dual Top Speed Start Gates for starting the game in style. These connect to the tracks at the start and with a press of a button can blast your ball around the track at speed. You can use your own manual power to roll the balls around the track but these are so much cooler. These start gates are perfect for performing stunts with the balls.

Rapid Fire Power Launchers

For the battles we connected up the Rapid Fire Power Launchers which is a kind of upgraded version of the Speed Start Gate which can have up to 6 balls loaded up ready to be blasted around the track. With one of these launchers connected to either side of the track you can have some serious battles.

The boys loved the battles. Not much thinking involved here. They just blasted their balls around the track and watched them jump the ramps and slam into one another. Whoever has the most balls left in the buckets is the winner.

Two Lane Battle Jump Raceway

As for tracks, we tried out the Two Lane Battle Jump Raceway. Basically this is a two lane track where each player races side by side with their opponent. It is a close quarters race that requires some practice in order to keep the ball on the track.

The track itself has two hug loops that the balls have to spin around and also a ramp with a gap for the balls to jump. This game is fast but fun to play and watch.

High Speed Stunt Jump Track

The High Speed Stunt Jump Track is a single track for doing stunts and gaining points. Just blast your supercharged Dagedar ball through the track and watch it loop the loop and jump the gap. To gain points your ball needs to land in the score funnel. Takes practice!

High Speed Score Zone Raceway

The biggest track of them all is the High Speed Score Zone Raceway. You and your opponent send the balls down the track simultaneously to see who lands in the highest score zone. There are loops, tricky side turns and gaps to jump. At the end of the track are the different buckets for the balls to fall into. All of which have their own scores.

This particular track is probably the best to start with because it has everything rolled into one. Actually, my boys played on this raceway for much longer than with the others. So maybe that says something.

Fip Action Carrying Case

Just to top things off and as an added bonus I got the boys two Flip Action Carrying Cases which are actually pretty cool. This thing can store three balls and can be hung just like a keychain. Now the boys can take their collectable balls to school and do some trading.

Summary

I watched the boys while they played these games and I have to say that they were totally caught up in the whole thing. It is a very social game offering an almost sporting challenge to the players. As well as this kids can collect and trade these creative looking balls. Again, more social interaction.

I personally think these are going to be a huge hit worldwide when they finally get released. I expect sales to go wild at Christmas and no doubt many stores will be fighting to keep up with the demand.
